Confessions of a beginner
I want to have a fine dog
And dishes done by my side
I want my plants watered
And the panes that glide
I don’t wish to see any more flies
And like everyone else
hate standing in long lines
a bucket full of tears, a glass full of dreams
and a heart full of lies
I love reality, but only on TV
I don’t need a love story
Where my lover isn’t dandy
Maybe a couple of more days
Then I colour my greys
And gear up for life outside this window
And dishes done by my side
I want my plants watered
And the panes that glide
I don’t wish to see any more flies
And like everyone else
hate standing in long lines
a bucket full of tears, a glass full of dreams
and a heart full of lies
I love reality, but only on TV
I don’t need a love story
Where my lover isn’t dandy
Maybe a couple of more days
Then I colour my greys
And gear up for life outside this window
